Learning Financial Wisdom with Legacy Financial

Our Pace Setters Summer Camp campers had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a financial literacy workshop led by Trevor Chew of Legacy Financial.

Throughout the session, the children learned valuable lessons about managing money wisely, including the importance of saving, spending less than you earn, avoiding unnecessary debt, giving generously, and planning for the future. Trevor also connected these practical financial principles with biblical teachings, showing our campers that wisdom and good stewardship can begin at a young age.

The interactive session gave our campers an opportunity to ask questions, participate in discussions, and begin thinking about the choices they will make with money as they grow.

As Proverbs 21:20 reminds us, “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.”

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Trevor Chew and Legacy Financial for taking the time to educate, encourage, and invest in our young people. Experiences like these are an important part of helping our campers grow not only in knowledge, but also in wisdom, responsibility, and faith.
