Lead Pastor, Pastor Dennis Johnson
With a background in veterinary medicine, Pastor Johnson heeded the divine call to full-time ministry over a decade ago, leaving a lasting impact on the congregation with his unique blend of knowledge, wisdom, and spirit-filled leadership.
Pastor Johnson is a dedicated servant of God and a compassionate missionary and mentor. His vision and leadership have helped shape Mount Dennis Baptist Church into the vibrant, community-focused church it is today. His passion for outreach, missions, and fostering a multicultural and intergenerational church community reflects his deep understanding of God’s Kingdom.
Off the pulpit, Pastor Johnson shares his life with his beautiful wife, Christaina, and their two amazing sons, King-Avisha and Adriel. Their family stands as a testimony to God’s grace and love and adds a personal touch to our spiritual family here at Mount Dennis Baptist Church.

I am Pastor Dennis Johnson, the Lead Pastor at Mount Dennis Baptist Church, and I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you. Our church, established in 1908, stands as a beacon of hope, love, and community in Toronto. Today, we continue to embrace those values in all we do.
As a church, we are committed to creating an environment where people from all walks of life can come to know the transformative power of Christ’s love. We aim to provide opportunities for each person to grow spiritually, and we strive to serve our community actively.
